Lovitt is releasing a 7″ that contains 4 songs from the new album, plus a download code for the entire 13-song album “More! More! More!”. This 7″ should be available in the USA and beyond in July. More details on the release date as we get ‘em.

After a long spell of internet absence, we are happy to announce that there is a new record in the works. Well, actually there is a new record that is finished. It’s currently at the pressing plant and we will have it with us on our short tour in April 2012. Stay tuned for a few tracks from the record to be posted online. Spring is here, celebrated with a new shower curtain with yellow flowers. Indulgent I know but that’s the way these things roll sometimes. While we’ve been waiting for this great revelation of spring to occur, we’ve been camped out in a dark moldy practice room writing some new songs and booking some upcoming shows:

In other kind-of-band-related news, Tim’s other band, Sweet Cobra, recently released a new record that is mind-shatteringly good. Take a listen here: myspace.com/sweetcobra. // Also, Manuel’s other band, Honigbomber, is gearing up for a release of their long overdue first record. They have a release show at Rote Flora on April 29th but whether they will have their records in time is up in the air. Take a listen to a few of the songs here: myspace.com/honigbomber. // Also, Dave’s other band (am I allowed to write about myself in third-person? weird…), Bee Control, finally released it’s first s/t 7″ in a joint-label affair. You can take a listen to one of the songs here. I think another song is up there on Soundcloud too. 300 copies were made and are available in the USA from Past/Futures records, and in Europe from Bis Auf Messer (Berlin), Dingleberry Records (Gießen), and Revolution Summer (Czech). // Pete recently found out that the street he lives on will soon become a dynamite blast site for major road reconstruction. Warnings were sent out to him that the blasting will commence at 7am and finish at 7pm for several weeks, during which his house will periodically shake from the blasting. He’s afraid that his cats and dog will not be excited. // And finally, Flo’s bike is fixed and apparently “rides itself”. So full circle back to spring time. Get on your bike and enjoy the weather!

We’re off to BE in the morning, en route to the UK the following day. Looking forward to seeing Robin Hood’s forest, weird Druid ruins, driving on the odd side of the street, ferry rides and Flo and Manuel speaking English 24 hours a day. Come say hi! Bis bald amigos!
